Actress, Charlie Brooks has revealed that she may be returning to BBC soap opera Eastenders full time in the near future.

Charlie, who is best known as Janine Butcher will return to our screens for the funeral of her dad, Frank, next week. She revealed: “We’ve spoken about it briefly, I don’t know yet. We’ll just have to play it by ear. It’s definitely given me a taste for the place again.

“I wasn’t expecting to enjoy it so much. I just slipped Janine on like an old pair of shoes! She just came straight back and she’s just so much fun to play. She’s such a cow,” she continued. “I really don’t know, though – It might not be right for the show but it’s something that I’d never not do. We’ll have to wait and see.

“I feel like Janine was so wicked, I wouldn’t want to ruin it. I don’t know if it would, or whether it’d enhance it. I just wouldn’t want her to be softened.”

She added: “But I’d absolutely have the confidence that they wouldn’t ruin Janine – however, they’d have to regulate her.”
