Chord Overstreet has clearly decided to ditch the clean-shaven, baby face looks that his Glee character, Sam Evans is know for.
Whilst the show is on hiatus ahead of its sixth and final season set to air in 2015, Overstreet has clearly been making the most of the opportunity – by letting his facial hair grow.
Last month, the Glee star posted a snap of himself on the golf course sporting a pretty fetching moustache and beard, but it seems he’s in no hurry to shave it off either, as earlier this week, he posted another snap of himself sporting an even bigger beard.
Overstreet also revealed to his over 600,000 Instagram followers that he’s using the hiatus from Glee to work on new music. He captioned the pic “Back in the studio writing. I think y’all will like this one! Can’t wait for y’all to hear!”.
Hopefully the ‘A Warrior’s Heart’ actor is making the most of his free time (and facial hair) whilst he can, as it’s going to have to be given the chop when production begins on the sixth and final season of Glee.
Though we don’t yet know what’s in store for the former New Directions, as we reported earlier this week, Jane Lynch (who plays Sue Sylvester) and Matthew Morrison (who plays Will Schuester) have been reminiscing about their time on the FOX hit.
In an interview with JournalNow.com, Morrison revealed, “I’m incredibly proud of the ride that [Glee has] taken us all on. It dealt with sensitive issues that adults and young people go through.”
Meanwhile, Lynch got sentimental with Entertainment Weekly, telling the publication that her favourite thing about playing the Principle and former Cheerios coach was when she got wild, “tear[ing] offices apart. I was just throwing stuff! That was my favourite thing”, she revealed.
