Chris Chittell Praises Emmerdale’s Recession Storylines
Emmerdale actor Chris Chittell has praised the show’s handling of issues surrounding the current recession.
Chris plays Eric Pollard who faces financial ruin as he is forced to close his factory due to lack of contracts.
“I think we have to reflect what is out there,” he told MSN. “It’s across the board, there are very few people who have not been touched by this recession and I think this is a good way of saying to the guys out there, we realise, and why should they suffer and I don’t?”
