Glee star, Chris Colfer, has discussed the difficult body swap episode coming up at the end of the current series of Glee.
Colfer, who plays Kurt Hummel in the hit teen show, has opened up about the ‘body swap’ episode due to air as the series finale.
Fox recently confirmed the body swap concept written for the end of the current series, a combination of episodes 20 & 21, where the New Directions will travel to Chicago to compete in Nationals. During the episode, in which Tina (Jenna Ushkowitz) experiences an alternate reality after suffering a head injury in rehearsals, Puck (Mark Salling) and Finn (Corey Monteith) will swap bodies with Blaine (Darren Criss) and Kurt.
Speaking of the storyline, Colfer commented to TV Line: “I really thought I had the hardest one because they were really hard to nail – they’re not over the top by any means.”
“But it was also nerve-wracking because I didn’t want to disrespect anybody!” he added.
On what it was like to play a new character, he added: “It’s kind of like a switch in your mind. You see yourself in a different mirror, and then you go for it!”
Chris is a busy boy at the minute, as on top of all his Glee related work, the 21 year old star is also promoting his new movie ‘Struck By Lightning.’
The coming-of-age comedy was produced and written by Colfer and follows a young man who after being struck by lightning and killed, recounts the way he blackmailed his fellow classmates into contributing to his literary magazine. The movie is set to have its world premiere at Tribeca Film Festival on April 21, 2012.
Chris tweeted this week saying:
‘I’m running around NYC like crazy for a “Struck By Lightning” press day!’
He later added:
‘Here we go team! On my way to the world premiere of “Struck By Lightning”! Wish me luck! #JustBreathe’
