Chris Tarrant has denied all rumours that he is set to quit quiz show Who Wants To Be A Millionaire in 2010.

During a TV interview yesterday Chris implied that he would be leaving the show next year but show bosses say that his comments were misinterpreted.

“Chris is not quitting the show and it was not his intention to imply that,” said a spokesperson.

“Like all shows, Millionaire is recommissioned on a series by series basis, and we have just signed a new deal taking us into 2010. This is absolutely as per usual, and we are delighted to clarify that Chris will continue to host the show going forward.”
