This is your 30 minute warning!
We’re half way through Christmas Day now, can you believe it! We hope you’ve all made it through without any fights or injuries.
Though now it’s really time to relax, you’ve either sat down to dinner already or you’re just about to but don’t worry, there’s still plenty on TV to keep you entertained including ‘The Muppet Christmas Carol’.
‘The Muppet Christmas Carol’ was first released back in 1992 and as I’ve just read that back I feel incredibly old however nothing we can do about that.
Join The Muppets as they embark on a movie adaption journey which follows the Charles Dickens novel ‘A Christmas Carol’ and features Michael Caine as Ebenezer Scrooge.
If you haven’t read the book or seen the movie then simply put it follows Ebenezer Scrooge (played by Michael Caine) who is a money lender and an incredibly mean-spirited man.
He’s rotten to everyone including his employees though one employee (Kermit The Frog) attempts to convince him to give his employees Christmas Day off but that won’t be easy.
The night before Christmas Ebenezer Scrooge is visited by ghosts of former business partners who, because of their evil deeds have been forced to live a life tied down by chains.
They feel it’s time to warn Scrooge that if he doesn’t change his ways, he too will end up in the same way.
Naturally ‘The Muppet Christmas Carol’ features the usual singing and dancing we’ve grown accustomed to because of The Muppets.
Who doesn’t love singing and dancing puppets on Christmas Day.
Oh and of course, the movie ends up with Scrooge changing his ways and everyone being happy. It wouldn’t have been a Christmas movie if it had ended any other way.
