On Monday in the 7:30pm show, Luke’s enjoying lording it over Tony and constantly reminding him who’s the boss, and when a client comes in, Luke schmoozes him with some football tickets, winding Tony up even more. When Luke announces that the client has increased his order by 50% Tony’s irritated even more by Luke’s confidence.

The day goes from bad to worse when Tony’s forced to do a double-take when he spots Rosie wearing Carla’s cardigan and he has to rush out of the factory to regain his composure. Angry that Luke’s put him in this position, he decides to hire a private investigator to find out a little bit more about his new business partner. Meanwhile Natasha’s delighted when Tony asks her round to his flat for a drink.

Maria’s also feeling the effects of Carla’s bid to rid herself of the past when she receives a letter saying she’s handed over her share of Ladrags to Maria, she’s unsure about accepting but realises that she needs the security for her baby.

Peter’s started the day with whisky for breakfast and is less than impressed when he discovers that Michelle’s gone off to Ireland to look after her sick mum. Deirdre’s concerned about his drinking but he tells her to back off and insists he can handle it.

Tara has yet to sell a piece of artwork and Umed reckons Dev’s being taken for a ride, but Dev continues to defend Tara and her gallery, despite having private misgivings.

Bill’s worried when Audrey tells him she wants the money back from the builder’s yard and with business slow, Bill doesn’t know how he’s going to find the money to pay her back.

At 8.30pm, Natasha and Tony are enjoying a drink and things start to get passionate, but the ghost of Carla threatens to spoil the evening and the mood is broken. Natasha tries to quiz Tony about her but he’s not keen to discuss it so she’s surprised when, as she’s about to leave, the mood changes and he makes it very clear he wants her to stay.

Bill tells Jason that he can only afford to use him on a casual basis from now on as he has to pay Audrey back leaving Jason gutted and angry with Audrey.

Tom’s peeved to discover that Maria now owns 75% of Ladrags and tries to convince her that they don’t need Tony’s advice anymore, but Maria disagrees and tells him that she values Tony’s help.

Tara’s terribly upset that there’s no review of her art gallery in the Gazette so Dev tries to comfort her but for Uncle Umed, it’s further proof that Dev’s being taken for a fool.

Finally, Peter’s continuing to drink heavily and rants to Tyrone about Michelle swanning off to Ireland.

In Wednesday’s 7.30pm episode, Natasha’s all loved up after a night of passion with Tony but it’s clear that he can’t wait to get rid of her. Natasha later boasts in the salon about her night at Tony’s and Maria’s surprised to find herself slightly put out by the idea.

Later, Tony comes round to see her and as they chat, there’s a closeness and ease that hadn’t previously been there but when Maria asks him to put his hand on her stomach and he feels the baby kick, he suffers a panic attack.

Chesney gets a letter from school addressed to Fiz and he tries to hide it but he needn’t have worried as Fiz is distracted by a letter from John Stape. She feigns disinterest but it’s obvious she’s been affected by it.

Peter needs to palm Simon off on Deirdre so he can spend the afternoon drinking so he tells her he wants to clean the flat, but when she returns with Simon, it’s clear he hasn’t done much tidying. She hides her concern but after she’s gone, Peter falls and bangs his head scaring poor Simon. Peter tries to lighten the mood but it’s clear he’s not fit to care for a child.

Ken spends a lovely few hours with Martha and she invites him to the theatre the following evening and suggests he stay the night. Ken’s immediately uncomfortable and guilt ridden but Martha feels foolish, believing she has rushed things.

On Friday at 7.30pm, Deirdre’s struggling to cope with the situation at Peter’s and moans to Blanche that she could do with some support from Ken. However, when she takes Simon back to the flat and discovers all his empty whisky bottles, Peter’s furious to return and find her going through his things so he demands she leaves. However, Deirdre refuses to until he can prove to her that Simon’s safe in his care. Meanwhile Ken and Martha are enjoying an afternoon aboard the boat and Ken’s still managing to side step some tricky questions about his home life.

Elsewhere, Maria and Tom make friends after Tom apologises for suggesting that Tony might fancy her and Julie’s worried that she might be pregnant but Kirk’s excited at the prospect.

At 8.30pm, Tony, Maria, Natasha and Tom have a drink together and Maria can’t help getting irrationally annoyed when Natasha flirts with Tony. When Tony says he needs an early night, Natasha’s disappointed but Tony changes his mind and calls her to invite her round. When she arrives dressed to the nines, Tony’s impressed but intrigued when Natasha says Maria had warned her off him.

Ken and Martha enjoy an intimate glass of wine on the barge while Ken’s oblivious to the crisis back home and the urgent message on his phone from Deirdre. Meanwhile Peter and Deirdre have the mother of all rows which results in her threatening to call social services so Peter backs down and lets her take Simon to number 1. When Ken arrives home however, Peter storms into the house and takes Simon, insisting that Ken and Deirdre are the ones who’ve been drinking and he’s sober.

Dev’s worried about Tara and gets Minnie to phone her, masquerading as an art dealer. Minnie unwittingly finds herself agreeing to buy 3 pieces of art for £700.

Finally, Sally and Kevin invite Molly and Tyrone for dinner but Sally’s put out when Molly reveals she’d like to play a more active role in the business.
