On Monday at 7:30pm, Despite David’s best attempts to wheedle his way back into his Mum’s good books, Gail makes it clear that she wants nothing to do with him for the time being. David’s shocked at his Mum’s coldness and is isolated further by Audrey who tells him in no uncertain terms that the only reason he’s still got his job at the Salon is because she doesn’t want to add to Gail’s problems. She then sends him away on a day’s unpaid leave with a flea in his ear. After he gets the same response from Tina, David’s bereft; he returns home feeling utterly alone and is astounded when Ted announces that he’s forgiven David, and in time, so will Gail.

Sally tries to persuade Kevin to invest in Underworld, but he’s far from keen on the idea. Events take another twist when Rosie receives a visiting order through the post from John. On the day of the visit, Rosie feigns illness to stay off work, and, in the most provocative clothing she owns, sneaks to the Prison to see what John could possibly want…

Fiz meanwhile makes up her mind that she’s going to try and see John, whether he wants to see her or not. Kirk tries his best to talk her out of it but when she makes it clear that there’s no point, he agrees to go to the Prison with her. When Fiz arrives with no Visiting Order, a Prison Officer makes it clear she can’t get in, but takes pity on her after hearing her story, and agrees to speak to John. Will he agree to see Fiz?

At 8.30pm, John’s shocked that Rosie’s come to see him, but she remains calm and makes it clear to him who’s in charge. Rosie’s gob-smacked when John announces that, although he knows it doesn’t change what he did, he wants to try and do right by Rosie by giving her the proceeds of the sale of his Grandmothers house; £150,000. He wants Rosie to do something positive with the money, but she leaves him under no illusions that it’ll be spent the only way that Rosie knows how – holidays and handbags.

When Rosie gets home, Sally’s annoyed to see that there’s nothing wrong with her and she’s clearly been skiving. After getting the phone call from John’s solicitor that Rosie has been waiting for, she delights in letting Fiz know that she’s been to prison to see him, much to Fiz’s disappointment.

Kevin lets Chesney wash a couple of cars to earn some extra money, and he opens up about the problems he’s having with Fiz. Kevin tries to get Chesney to see it from her point of view, and not to be too hard on her telling him that you can’t choose who you fall for. Meanwhile, Fiz decides to make a tape for John to send to him but she’s disturbed when Chesney returns home. Fiz is relieved that Chesney doesn’t realise what she’s doing and offers to watch TV with him and Chesney softens towards her. Maybe Kevin’s words got through?

Jason’s disgusted at the accusation and puts Kevin in his place saying he’d never sleep with his mates’ wife prompting Kevin to realise that he’s made a fool of himself.

Gary approaches Ted to apologise for what happened. He explains that he intended to steal from the house but he never meant for him to get hurt. Ted offers Gary his hand just as David arrives and demands that Gary leave Ted alone. Will this feud ever get sorted?

Finally, Norris is put out to find Ramsay and Emily enjoying a drink in the Rovers.

On Wednesday, Sally’s not happy as Rosie throws another sickie. She points out she’ll lose her job if she’s not careful but Rosie’s blasé attitude leaves the Websters baffled. Sally’s left further confused when Fiz reveals Rosie’s been to visit John in prison. Sally doesn’t believe Fiz, knowing how much Rosie hates John, but when Rosie arrives in the pub laden with shopping bags, she announces she’s been out celebrating with Minnie after being told the £150k from John will be in her bank account tomorrow.

Meanwhile, as the factory girls celebrate Janice’s birthday in the pub, they soon become aware of Rosie’s big news. The fracas continues when Luke offers Rosie’s job to Janice as it’s clear Rosie doesn’t want it any more.

On Friday at 7.30pm, it’s the day of the 10k fun run and Molly’s worried about it. She’s disappointed when Tyrone phones to say he can’t make the fun run as Jack’s train is delayed so when Kevin offers to take her instead, she’s pleased and flirtily accepts. On the starting line, Molly’s suffering from last minute nerves but Kevin gives her plenty of moral support and to his cheers, Molly finishes 10th in the race. Caught up in the moment Kevin hugs her, telling her she’s amazing. He’s clearly longing to kiss her but will Kevin make a move on Molly?

At 8.30pm, as Kevin fights his feelings for his best mate’s wife, Molly’s walking on air. Unaware of Kevin’s turmoil, she’s dying to get back to the street to tell Tyrone about the race. However, when he’s more interested in moaning about Jack and his friendship with Connie, Molly’s put out.

Having turned the screws on Fiz for long enough, Rosie’s now ready to explain herself. Revealing she hasn’t been visiting John regularly, she tells Fiz he gave her the money to say sorry for what he did. Her head in a spin, Fiz desperately tries to phone John but finds herself blocked at every turn.
