Coming up on Coronation Street

On Monday at 7:30pm, Becky’s released on bail and is convinced that no one will come and collect her, or want anything to do with her. But as she’s leaving, Steve arrives and tells her that he’s been there half the night. He apologises for ever disbelieving her but things start to unravel for Becky back on the street; Kelly makes a sarky comment and then Liz tells Becky everyone thinks she’s a drugs dealer and she’s not welcome in the pub. Becky storms off feeling deeply hurt.

Norris is irritated with Ramsay for mixing up the paper deliveries and he’s quick to point out that one of their customers has cancelled her order as a result. Ramsay makes things worse by breaking Norris’s favourite mug and Norris is furious. Ramsay presents Norris with a new mug, but Norris is unimpressed. He tells an astonished Rita that he’s going to sack Ramsay as he’s not up to the job.

Lloyd wants some answers about why Liz didn’t return from Spain and she explains that she’s had a bit of a mid-life crisis. She feels she’s too old for him and that’s why she wants to end their relationship. Lloyd’s disappointed.

At 8:30pm, Steve desperately tries to defend Becky, but in Liz’s eyes, Becky’s guilty and she doesn’t want her son hooked up with a drug dealer. Blanche and Norris gossip about Becky and her ‘drug dealing’, but Hayley’s quick to defend Becky, convinced she’s innocent. However, Becky knows it’s going to take more than the support of her friends to clear her name this time. Meanwhile, Steve confronts DC Hooch and offers him £1k to leave Becky alone. Will Hooch take the bribe?
Molly and Tyrone arrive back from their holiday and at the earliest opportunity, Kevin grabs a few moments with Molly on her own and tells her it would be best if she pulled out of the fun run to avoid them having to spend time together. Affronted, Molly suggests he pulls out instead. Guilt ridden about his affair, Kevin suggests to Sally they should consider moving to Cheshire. Sally’s thrilled whilst Kevin secretly just wants to get away from Molly.

Armed with this new information, Steve and Becky go to see a solicitor, but the lawyer points out that without any concrete evidence, they haven’t a hope. Realising they’ve some work to do, Becky finds a photo of Slug and Steve promises to get copies made and distribute them round all the taxi drivers in Weatherfield in the hope they can track him down.
Kevin and Sally go house-hunting in Cheshire but find everything too expensive. They return disappointed, but for different reasons.
Joe heads off for the job centre, but it’s a wasted trip. Jason bumps into Joe and asks him to help him clear out No.12. Joe’s only too happy to help as it’ll keep him busy and get him in Tina’s good books. David tells Joe that Gail was better off before she ever met him, and Joe quietly wonders if David might be right. Meanwhile, Tina proudly shows off the charm bracelet Jason’s bought her. Riddled with jealousy, David takes the mickey.

Meanwhile, as he tries to keep busy, he helps Tina and Jason as they start doing up the flat. None of them notice when Tina’s charm bracelet slips between the floorboards. David goes for a nosy in Tina’s new flat on the pretext of helping Joe carry the floor- sander, and when Tina discovers her bracelet missing, she assumes David nicked it when he was in the flat. She storms round to No.8 and confronts him but David protests his innocence, however, nobody believes him, including Gail. Furious to be falsely accused of something, David forces his way into No.12 and corners Tina. Tina’s unnerved to see him so angry – what does he plan to do?

At 8:30pm, Tina’s wary as she finds herself in the flat alone with David. As he shuts the door, she wonders what he’s going to do, but he merely tells her that he loved her. Shaken, Tina tells him how much she hates him. David eventually leaves, but it’s clear Tina’s unnerved. Jason’s furious when he finds out David’s been harassing Tina. He sets off to find him, determined to teach him a lesson.
