Coming up on Coronation Street

On Monday at 7:30pm, as the post arrives, all the Street’s residents receive a surprise letter from John Stape, explaining that he and Fiz intend to live on the street and he asks for their support.
Roy and Hayley are sympathetic whilst Norris and Dev are appalled. Sally meanwhile is furious to discover John’s been writing to all her neighbours, and is further incensed when she and Kevin receive the same letter. Like a woman possessed, she calls a meeting in the Rovers, intent on drumming up anti-John support.
Kevin has other things on his mind though; he’s desperate to spend more time with Molly and has found a 10k run is taking place in Glasgow, so he lies to Sally about entering it. Despite her initial insistence that he support her at the Stape meeting, she gives him her blessing and, with Tyrone happy for Molly to go too, the illicit lovers look forward to a romantic break.
It’s an interesting post bag for Roy and Hayley today as they also receive an invitation to Frankie Baldwin’s wedding in Romania.
Ashley’s sexually frustrated but Claire refuses to have sex with him until he’s had a vasectomy. A demented Ashley later threatens to smash Umed’s irritating new bell at the corner shop as it’s driving him mad. Graeme intervenes to try and calm Ashley down, and at last, Ashley promises Claire he’ll have a vasectomy.
Leanne’s called into work on her day off. Peter reminds her it’s Simon’s recorder recital at school, and she’s determined to attend, but Peter’s disappointed when she’s not home from work in time.
Elsewhere, Emily and Ken decide they’ll throw a joint birthday party in the Rovers.
At 8:30pm, Chesney receives his letter from John, and Fiz tells Chesney how she hopes they’ll all live together at No.5, but Chesney’s not keen on that idea. Sophie calls round and tells Fiz how John’s written to everyone on the street and Sally’s called a meeting in the Rovers.

Fiz can’t believe John’s played into Sally’s hands in this way and knows she has to do something. Meanwhile, at the Rovers, Sally’s in full flow at the ‘anti-John Stape meeting’. She urges the residents not to allow John back on the street, but the mood changes when Fiz arrives. Standing on a chair, she delivers a heartfelt speech, appealing to the residents to show some compassion and understanding, and she’s rewarded with a warm round of applause, much to Sally’s dismay!
Leanne apologises to Peter for missing Simon’s recorder recital and promises she won’t let him or Simon down again, but she tells him that her job is a nightmare and that she’s spent the day trying to clean up her boss’s mistakes.
As Molly and Kevin leave for ‘Glasgow’, Sophie asks her dad if he has something to tell them, and points out that it’s the ‘GlasGAY Ten K’. Molly quickly covers, saying how she supports gay charities.
Once at the bus stop, Kevin reveals to Molly that he’s actually booked them into a posh hotel in Chester so that they can be a ‘normal couple’ for 24 hours! They spend the afternoon in bed, but Molly’s upset, wishing they could be together forever. Kevin’s disappointed and points out that they mustn’t hurt Sally or Tyrone and should just savour whatever moments they can get together.
Elsewhere, Graeme washes the windows at the corner shop and breaks the doorbell on purpose. Umed’s fuming whilst Dev’s grateful and offers to pay Graeme for his hard work.

On Thursday, Kevin and Molly are enjoying their secret tryst and are having breakfast in bed at their posh hotel when the mood’s broken as Molly gets a text from Tyrone, wishing her luck with the run. Determined not to spoil they day, the couple enjoy a romantic day in Chester, but are depressed at the thought of returning home.
Kevin suddenly makes a decision and books them into the hotel for another night. He phones Sally and lies to her, saying the train back from Glasgow has been cancelled. Meanwhile, Tyrone waits for Molly to return, having gone to great lengths to give her a romantic welcome.
Chesney’s written to John and tells Fiz that if they stay at No.5, then he’s prepared to live with her and John, leaving Fiz thrilled at his change of heart. She visits John and ticks him off about sending the letters, but explains at least one good thing has come of it with Chesney’s change of heart. She explains about Sally’s vendetta, but John insists he’s heard back from other residents who’ve been very supportive and assures Fiz they’ll face the rebel rousers together on his return.
Leanne jacks in her job at the bar and tells Peter she’ll have to find something else, but his reaction annoys her and they end up rowing. Peter’s sure she’s regretting giving up her life in Leeds to be with him and Simon. Can Leanne convince him this isn’t the case?
Elsewhere, Norris’s new member of staff, Sheila, never stops talking and is starting to get on Norris’s nerves. Also, Darryl rows with Teresa and locks her out of the flat.
On Friday at 7:30pm, Kevin and Molly arrive back from Chester. Tyrone and Sally are delighted to see them, but Sally confesses to being surprised as she thought it would’ve taken longer to get back from Glasgow!
Sally reminds Kevin it’s their wedding anniversary and suggests he should claim compensation from the train company for the extra hotel night. Kevin’s evasive and starting to sweat about all the lies he’s told – especially when Sophie finds a website with pictures of all the runners, and can’t find Kevin.
Meanwhile Tyrone tells Molly how much he missed her, but Molly’s accuses him of being pathetic and then feels guilty about how her double life is already hurting Tyrone.

Peter notices an empty unit at the end of the street and takes Bill to look round the premises with him. Leanne’s stunned when he then takes her to have a look and tells her he thinks they should buy the property and suggests they open a bar together.
Tony, Maria and baby Liam arrive back from Paris, and they’re unimpressed to find that Kirk’s still living at No.7.
Lloyd finds Teresa in the back of his cab and realises that she’s spent the night there. He takes pity on her and gives her breakfast, but tells her she needs to sort things out with Darryl.
It’s Ken’s 70th birthday and Simon gives him a card that he’s made. Meanwhile, Liz winds Deirdre up about being married to a 70 year old!

Elsewhere, Sheila’s incessant wittering is still getting on Norris’s nerves, but he’s determined to persevere.
At 8:30pm, Kevin’s on the back foot and his mind races to come up with a reason why he isn’t on the pictures from the race. In desperation, he lies to Sally, saying the reason his photo isn’t on the website is because he pulled out of the race after 2 miles and Molly kindly stopped to help him. Amused, Sally believes him and they head for an anniversary drink in the Rovers. But what will Sally say to Molly?
Peter and Leanne excitedly discuss their plans for the new bar. Concerned, Leanne asks Peter if running a bar is really the right thing for a recovering alcoholic, but Peter assures her he’ll be fine.

Later, at Ken’s birthday celebrations, Bill starts talking about the plans and Ken’s horrified as he realises what Peter has up his sleeve. Ken, Deirdre and Blanche think it’s a recipe for a disaster – an alcoholic and an arsonist working together in a bar – and are convinced Leanne must be behind the whole thing. Peter’s angry at their lack of confidence in him and storms out of the Rovers, with Leanne not far behind.
Tony and Maria start planning baby Liam’s christening. Tony suggests they go out for dinner the night before, until he faces the horrible realisation that it’s the anniversary of Liam’s death.

Lloyd is enjoying being the DJ at Ken and Emily’s party, not least because he’s convinced Liz wants him around. He asks her for a dance and tries to kiss her, but is mortified when she pushes him away. Feeling humiliated, he starts chatting to Teresa and discovers they share the same taste in music…

Enjoying her company, he invites her back to his flat, and as they get drunk on tequila, one thing leads to another.
Elsewhere, Norris sacks Sheila from the Kabin and for the first time, she’s rendered speechless!

Im shocked tarty old Liz would push Lloyd away , she has aways had trouble keeping her nickers on.
So Kevin is back diping his dip stick, honestly he must soak his penis in steroids he has so many affairs.
As for Diedre well she too needs some underwear she cant keep hers on either, who cares if she is married to a 70 year old she has plenty of affairs on the side, doesnt effect her.
