Coming up on Coronation Street

In Monday’s 7:30pm visit to the Street, Tina’s becoming very nervous about the court case, but David tries to calm her down. Gary realises that his Uncle Len has made things worse with his ‘strong-arm’ tactics and knows that Tina intends to go ahead with her testimony, despite Len’s attempts to convince her otherwise.
Len, however, has another trick up his sleeve; when Joe gets a call about a developer who wants him to fit a load of new kitchens, he doesn’t smell a rat until it’s too late…

It hasn’t taken Luke Strong much time to get his feet under the table at Underworld and Tony is made nervous by his apparently good relationship with the factory staff. When Luke says that he also has to have a chat with Maria, Tony’s apprehension grows and Luke reveals that he’s also looking after Carla’s interests in Lad Rags.
Becky’s trying to fit into daily life at the Rovers but her attempts just serve to irritate Liz, especially when she finds Becky and Amy tucking into a big fry up for breakfast. Liz tries to explain away her annoyanche by saying that she’s worried about Amy, but will Liz ever accept that Becky’s now part of Steve’s life and therefore hers?
Deirdre’s pleased when Blanche tells her that Pam sold Ken a bottle of up-market wine that morning. Thinking that he has a special night planned for them, Deirdre plans to make his favourite meal, completely unaware that the wine isn’t for her at all.
Elsewhere, Sophie’s furious when Rosie tells Ryan that her sister’s friend, Sian, fancies him.
At 8:30pm, Joe’s wary as Len lays a deal on the table; If Joe gets Tina to tell the truth in court and say that David started the fight, not Gary, then Joe will land a contract to fit the kitchens for a warehouse development Len’s involved in.
Joe needs the work and when he later talks to Tina about the fight, she admits that she “bent the truth” slightly in her statement and that David was the one who started the fight. Will this convince Joe to seal the deal with Len?
Meanwhile, Deirdre’s lovingly prepared Ken’s favourite meal of Mousakka, completely unaware that he’s halfway across town on Martha’s narrow boat, sharing the bottle of wine with the lady herself.

Martha asks him to come along and watch her play and he agrees but it’s only after he and Martha share a chaste kiss – and Ken then turns on his mobile phone – that he realises Deirdre’s been looking for him. When he returns home to the ruined remains of the meal, he finds a dejected Deirdre sitting along in candlelight. He feels awful but lies about where he’s been.

Becky’s attempts to try and ingratiate herself with Amy are still annoying Liz and when Becky offers to collect Amy from school, Liz suggests that she should be picked up by somebody who knows her.
Elsewhere, Gary buys Anna a box of chocolates in an attempt to cheer her up but as she’s convinced that he’s going back to prison, the gesture only serves to upset her even more.
On Wednesday, Ken’s almost caught out when Deirdre innocently asks Ted if he enjoyed the play. Never one to be slow on the uptake, Ted goes along with Ken’s lies but when Deirdre leaves the café, he grills Ken as to what’s really going on between him and Martha.

Later, Ken’s surprised and embarrassed when he arrives at Martha’s to find Ted already there. Ted makes it clear that he knows Ken has feelings for Martha and suggests that he get things sorted out pronto.
Tony’s less than impressed by Luke’s ‘soft’ management style, which even extends to making cups of tea for the staff! However, Luke knows that he can get a lot of information from the workers and realises that he’s really starting to get under Tony’s skin.
Joe receives a brochure through the post from Len detailing the new development as well as a contract for the kitchen fitting. Joe’s very tempted to accept the deal and when Tina tells him that she’s unhappy about him taking handouts from Gail, he retorts that he isn’t happy about her standing up in court and telling a pack of lies.
Liz and Lloyd head off to the brewery bash leaving Becky in charge and things are going well until a coach party arrives and she finds herself stretched to the limit. When she gets sick of waiting at the bar, Kelly starts helping herself to drinks, which makes Becky see red. She throws Kelly out, just as Liz and Lloyd return.
Elsewhere, Rita shows Eileen the pendant Colin’s bought her for her birthday.
In Friday’s 7:30pm episode, Liz is furious with Becky for throwing a customer out of the pub, even if it was Kelly! She gives Poppy a run-down of all Steve’s fiancées and tells Becky that she’s the roughest of the lot. Becky’s upset but her mood soon changes when Steve turns up with her engagement ring which he’s had altered to fit her finger.
Becky’s delighted and can’t help showing it off, but when Michelle sees it, she points out that it used to be her ring and she was the one who chose it.
Joe tells Gail, David and Tina that he’s accepted the kitchen fitting job. They are delighted but they’re unaware that he’s struck the deal with Len.
Tina feels the pressure again when Joe asks her to tell the truth in court and when she sees David picking another fight with Gary, she realises that she needs to get away from Weatherfield for a while to do some thinking.
Eileen’s pleased when she sees her old friend Paula Carp leaving Julie and Kirk’s and she insists that they go for a drink. She’s surprised when Paula reveals the reason she left school so suddenly was that she found out she was pregnant.
Kevin and Sally are put under pressure by Sophie to give something up for Lent and find themselves agreeing to go teetotal.

At 8:30pm, Becky’s livid and humiliated by Michelle’s revelation and throws the second-hand engagement ring back at Steve before heading off to cry on Roy and Hayley’s shoulders. Steve realises that he’s messed things up – again – and takes a special folder over to the café for Becky.
When she opens it, she discovers that it contains all the details for their wedding which Steve has booked. Touched by the gesture, she agrees to give him another chance.
David’s devastated to discover that Tina’s walked out and leaves countless messages on her voicemail begging her to come home. He’s worried that she’s decided not to testify in his favour or that she won’t turn up for the court case.
An intrigued Eileen quizzes Paula about Julie’s father but Paula’s evasive and is then relieved when Eileen eventually has to give up her questioning when she gets a call from Todd to say he’s broken his ankle.

Luke and Tony call an edgy truce after Luke insists that he’s had nothing directly to do with Carla but has dealt only through her lawyer. The pair agree that they’re going to have to trust each other and Luke arranges to rent one of Tony’s Victoria Court flats.
Elsewhere, Ben takes Sophie to listen to Ryan’s band at the Church Youth Centre but will Kevin and Sally be able to resist the temptation of a quick snifter once they’re alone?
