Coming up on Coronation Street

On Monday, in the 7:30pm episode, Joe’s feeling the pressure from all sides; David wants his job back now Joe has the new kitchen contract but Joe’s worried that he hasn’t even got the cash to buy the raw materials for the job. Gail tries to help Joe out but he’s too proud to accept her offer and throws the offer of cash back in her face. Eventually, Joe’s desperate so he decides to pay Len a visit to get the deal back on track – just as David walks in and finds them shaking hands.

Leanne tells Janice that she’s decided to accept the restaurant manager’s job in Leeds in order to get away from Peter. Janice is upset by the news, as is Peter, who infuriates Leanne by getting Simon to beg her to stay. Upset at Simon’s heartfelt pleas, but determined to go nonetheless, Leanne says a tearful goodbye and leaves Weatherfield…
Becky’s determined to do everything right in the run up to her wedding and tells Steve that she’s decided not to have a hen night as she doesn’t trust herself, so instead, she’ll have a quiet night in with Roy and Hayley!
Elsewhere, Dev’s Uncle Umed arrives from India and Liz offers a grateful Anna Windass the cleaner’s job at the Rovers.
At 8.30pm, it’s a night of tears, accustations and revelations at the Platts, and by the end of the night, Joe, David, Gail and Tina know a lot more about each other than they thought possible…

David’s stunned when Len Windass gleefully explains how he got Joe the kitchen contract in exchange for getting Tina to change her story in court so a furious David storms home and tells Gail and Tina about the bribe, but that’s just the tip of the iceberg as first Tina’s abortion secret is revealed followed by Joe discovering that David tried to kill his own mother and topped off with the news that Joe only moved in with Gail because he’d been evicted from his flat! Can the two couples survive or will the house of cards come tumbling down with them all inside?
Uncle Umed is making himself at home and is surprised when he overhears a conversation between Tara and Jason in which the pair are discussing Jason refitting Dev’s shop to turn it into an art gallery. However, Umed gets the wrong end of the stick and is convinced Tara and Jason are having an affair.
Peter’s still in a state following Leanne’s departure and it seems no amount of talking from Ken is going to make the situation any better.
Liz tries to have a heart to heart with Lloyd about their relationship but ends up dumping him after he fails to convince her that he hasn’t got a problem with their age difference.

In Wednesday’s 7.30pm show, Becky’s counting the days till her wedding and amuses Steve with her efforts to commit to memory her last few hours as a single woman! Having given in to Liz’s insistence that she has a hen night, Becky excitedly arrives at the Rovers with Hayley just in time to hear half the pub, including Lloyd, having a bet on the wedding not happening. Devastated, she goes to find Steve who wastes no time in telling his mum and his best friend what he thinks of them and bars them from the wedding.
The fallout from the previous night is still raw with Tina telling David that it’s over and Joe’s nowhere to be found. Unaware that Gail and her dad have actually split up, Tina confides in Gail about her dad’s previous problems with depression and asks her to take care of him whilst she’s not around.
Ken tells Peter that he has to stay off the booze and start behaving like a responsible adult for Simon’s sake which Peter takes on board and in a bid to prove that he’s a good dad, he buys Simon a pet rabbit, but he’s less than impressed when Simon’s wants to call it Leanne.
Meanwhile, Ken’s feeling guilty about his kiss with Martha and tells Ted about his ‘turmoil’. Ted tells him that he’s going to have to make a decision about what he does next…
On Friday at 7.30pm, it’s Friday the 13th on the Street too and Becky’s determined to make sure her wedding day goes to plan. Liz is desperately trying to apologise as Steve gets ready at the pub but he insists that she and Lloyd are not welcome.
So, keen to try and make amends, Liz and Lloyd decide to prepare a surprise wedding reception for the happy couple.
Meanwhile over at Roy’s Rolls, Hayley and Natasha are putting the finishing touches to the bride’s dress, hair and make-up. Becky looks an absolute picture in her dream dress but her nerves start to get the better of her and she knocks back glass after glass of champagne.

Slightly tiddly, she panics that Steve’s about to see her as she leaves and so she dashes to the builders’ yard to hide, but that’s where things start to go wrong and she rips her dress. Roy and Hayley start to wonder if they’ll ever get her to the registry office on time!

Elsewhere Gail’s worried about Joe and is shocked when she finds him dishevelled in the lock-up. Joe’s then overcome with emotion as she hugs him and asks him to come home.
Tara shows Dev her extravagant plans for the art gallery, prompting him to suggest that they need to cut back on expenditure and Luke is trying his best to put pressure on Tom and Maria to sell him their share of Ladrags.
In the 8.30pm episode, Roy and Hayley are desperately trying to get Becky to the wedding but while they’re at the factory trying to fix her dress, Becky hears about the fight that Karen and Tracy had on the factory roof. Hyped up on champagne and adrenalin, she heads for the roof and bursts into song while spraying the street with champagne like a formula one winner!

Steve meanwhile is getting increasingly worried about where his bride to be has got to and is relieved when she finally arrives at the registry office – even though she’s having to be held up by Roy – and the couple prepare to tie the knot…
Back at the Rovers, Liz and Lloyd wait excitedly for the newlyweds to arrive and Liz is thrilled when Lloyd publically announces that Liz is his girlfriend.
One couple still struggling to get things back to normal are Joe and Gail. She pleads with him to give the relationship another go and tells him she knows all about the depressions, but Joe doesn’t seem to want to listen.
As Luke, Maria and Tom meet to discuss the future of Ladrags, Tony walks in and is angry to discover that his nemesis is trying to muscle in on that business too. Tony decides to offer Maria some business advice of his own and she’s surprisingly receptive, apologising for thinking badly of him in the past.
