Coming up on EastEnders

On Monday, Bianca’s still worried about Whitney’s poor efforts with her exams while Ricky warns Bianca to be careful that she doesn’t push Whitney away, however he’s shocked when he hears that Whitney’s real mum, Debra, turned up out of the blue last week.
As he and Bianca are talking it over, Whitney’s listening in the hallway while Tiffany interrupts her mum to reveal that Debra’s at the door. Heading to the front door, Bianca tells Debra to leave Whitney alone during her exams while Whitney reminds her mum how cold she was to her when they met last month. However, the atmosphere between mother and daughter thaws slightly when Debra asks if they can start over again and before Whitney returns to her revision, she arranges to have a drink with Debra in the Vic.
Later, Ricky’s surprised to hear that Whitney’s gone out for a drink with Debra but when Whitney comes home, Bianca apologises and explains that she doesn’t want to fight with her any more. Placated, Whitney mellows slightly before dropping the bombshell that she’s asked Debra to stay at Pat’s for a few days.

Bianca’s not happy in the slightest about it when Debra later turns up with her belongings and, happy to see her, Whitney gives her a hug. A frustrated Bianca however takes the opportunity to warn Debra not to hurt Whitney or else she’ll face the consequences.
Meanwhile, Ronnie has a fresh outlook on life, but her upbeat mood is short-lived when she and Jack interrupted by a phone call from Roxy about Amy and later, Jack and Ronnie’s business meeting is brought to a halt by Tanya’s arrival regarding a problem with the electrics in the house.
Ronnie heads across the Square with Jack and she quickly suggests that they should evict Tanya and the kids to move in themselves which is an idea that Jack quickly dismisses.

Returning home for lunch, Jack’s sure Ronnie has an ulterior motive however, things quickly become passionate but Jack mentions that he has no protection. Ronnie tells him that she does, before heading to the bathroom and piercing a condom numerous times with a pin.

Elsewhere, Syed reluctantly agrees to meeting Parveen again however their date doesn’t go well and Parveen throws a curry all over Syed. And despite hearing about Syed and Parveen’s argument, Zainab tells Bushra that there’s “a spark” between their children.
Finally, Chelsea’s not excited in the slightest about being introduced to Theo’s university friends.
On Tuesday, Debra wakes after spending the night on the sofa but she’s preoccupied with thoughts of meeting her contact so she can buy some merchandise.
Bianca, meanwhile, is quietly disappointed to hear that Whitney enjoyed her day with her real mum and following another argument over her exams, Whitney storms off to school. On her way, she spots Debra selling knock-off DVDs and wanting to spend more time with her mum, Whitney decides to skip her exams again.

Debra soon tells Whitney about her plans to start a new life in Greece but Ricky interrupts the pair to ask about Whitney’s exam. Whitney lies and says that she attended the exam before Ricky mentions to Debra that someone’s been looking for her around the market. Taking Whitney and Ricky by surprise, Debra bolts across the Square to Pat’s.
Packing her belongings, Debra’s further rattled when the police turn up asking about her and, pushing Whitney out of sight with the DVDs, Debra manages to get rid of the police but Whitney questions what her mum’s running from and why she’s in Walford. Debra insists that she’s there to see her and tells Whitney that she can go with her to start a new life in Greece.

Later, Bianca discovers that Whitney skipped another exam and confronts her and Debra but Whitney infuriates Bianca when she stands up for her mum.
In a fury, Bianca returns to Pat’s and begins packing up Debra’s belongings but Ricky stops her and insists that she’s playing right into Debra’s hands. Realising that Ricky’s right, Bianca thinks carefully about her next move.
Over at the Vic, Debra has a bottle of vodka and pours some into Whitney’s drink. On her second attempt at topping up Whitney’s drink, Ricky catches her in the act. When Debra goes to the bar, Ricky tells Whitney that she should be careful who she trusts, but Whitney reveals that she has every intention on leaving with her mum to start afresh in Greece.

Elsewhere, Amira returns to Walford and Syed’s surprised to hear that her father’s in financial trouble but it’s not long before Syed feels used by Amira so he tells her to go home. He’s also furious that Zainab’s set him up on another date with Bushra’s daughter Parveen and on the date, Zainab spies on the pair via a webcam, but she’s quickly rumbled.

Ronnie forces Jack to up the rent on Tanya’s house so Tanya, realising that she can’t afford the rent, reluctantly accepts a loan from Max.
Also, Chelsea’s relationship with Theo begins to crumble and Lucas is surprised when Chelsea reveals that she thinks Theo will quite easily find someone better than her.
On Thursday, Syed’s furious at his mother for spying on him and Parveen via a webcam, but he happily informs her that as they’ve been getting on so well, he’s invited her for dinner. That evening, Zainab and Bushra are stunned when Syed announces that he and Parveen are moving in together before asking for her hand in marriage. It quickly becomes clear though that it’s all a joke. At that moment, Syed receives a text from Amira saying that she’s outside the house. Syed sneaks her inside and hides her in his bedroom, telling her not to move but as they kiss, Masood walks in and reluctantly, he agrees to keep their secret.

Later, though, while everyone’s around the dinner table, they hear a bang from upstairs and despite searching, Amira’s nowhere to be found. Syed and Masood are left wondering where she’s got to and unaware they can be heard at the dinner table, Zainab’s forced to reprimand them for their behaviour and reminds them that they have guests. When Zainab brushes Syed’s hair and smartens him up, Syed snaps and insists that he’s not interested in Parveen in the slightest, just as she walks in with Bushra and Tamwar. When Zainab asks Syed if he thinks that the love of his life will fall from the sky into his arms, the wardrobe door falls open as Amira does indeed fall into his arms!
Meanwhile, Chelsea and Theo head to R&R after a meal at the Argee Bhargee. Chelsea’s soon approached by a charming and handsome young man who suggests that she should come and find him in the VIP room later. When one of Theo’s university friends, Karn, suggests they go back to his place to watch a DVD, Chelsea declines but urges Theo to go with them.

Heading to the VIP area, Chelsea finds the young man from earlier and recognises him as a Walford FC footballer. He says his name is Ellis before leading her to a toilet cubicle where he kisses her. Despite having Theo in mind, Chelsea kisses him back and he soon removes a wrap of cocaine from his pocket…
Elsewhere, Jack dismisses Ronnie’s idea of having a holiday in her friend’s villa in Spain but later, Ronnie’s heard on the phone booking tickets to Spain for one adult and one child.
Ricky convinces Bianca to cool her anger towards Debra and she hesitantly apologies but she’s then stunned when Ricky reveals that Whitney plans to move to Greece with Debra. However, Debra says she knows nothing about the plans…
Finally, Tanya seems to be missing Max more than she’s letting on.
On Friday, Bianca confronts Whitney over her claims that she’s leaving to live in Greece with her mum and insists that Debra was lying about the move.

Frustrated, Whitney asks Debra about the latest revelation and is upset when she admits that she won’t be able to go abroad with her. Later, Whitney finds Debra packing her belongings and begs her mum to stay so they can start a new life together in Walford. Despite her daughter’s pleas, Debra runs out of the house but as she leaves, she hands Whitney an envelope and instructs her to “look after it but never open it”, before promising that one day, she’ll come back for it.

Meanwhile, Chelsea sneaks back into the Fox household during the early hours but Denise catches her and presumes that she spent the night with Theo. Later, when Theo turns up at the house, Lucas mentions his all-nighter with Chelsea but Theo’s puzzled as their night ended early. As Lucas and Denise realise that Chelsea was with someone else, Chelsea suggests that Theo find a more suitable girlfriend.
Elsewhere, Masood allows Amira to stay at the house for a few more nights while Zainab’s shocked at how quickly Syed has forgotten how Amira treated him a few weeks ago. Zainab also tries to avoid Bushra but is pleased to hear that she wants to book Masala Queen for a large event.

Finally, it’s clear that Tanya wants to get back with Max and Ronnie packs Roxy and Amy off on holiday to Spain, glad she’s got Jack all to her self.
