On Monday, Lucas is thrown when he hears that Patrick wants to help Charlie clean out the summerhouse because Charlie says he wants to cleanse himself of memories of Brenda.

Later, Jordan finishes building the model boat he received for his birthday before Lucas manages to corner Patrick into helping to hand out flyers. Lucas knows that he has to keep Patrick distracted so that he can’t help Charlie with the cleaning task as he presumes that Trina’s body’s still in there.

Lucas goes to where he left Patrick handing out flyers but he panics when Patrick’s nowhere to be found. In the Minute Mart, Denise reveals that Patrick bought some rum and went home.

Lucas rushes home and is pleased to find Patrick and Charlie drinking on the sofa. However, Lucas isn’t prepared for Patrick’s revelation; Jordan and Abi agreed to clean the summerhouse in exchange for being able to grow some plants for a school project. Frantic, Lucas heads out to the allotments where he watches as Abi and Jordan open the door of the summerhouse. At that moment, a swarm of bluebottles fly out at them before Abi grabs Jordan and makes a run for it, screaming.

Chelsea confronts Janine about stealing her new bag, but Janine’s adamant that she wasn’t involved and even offers to let Chelsea look around the flat. While there, they find a wad of money beneath a magazine on Ryan’s bed and Janine insists that the money must be Chelsea’s. Ryan returns to the flat and laughs the incident off as a joke, but Chelsea’s not pleased in the slightest.

The police turn up at the house and ask Jordan questions about what he saw. Lucas asks DC Deanne Cunningham if she can return at a later point as Jordan’s too distressed to speak. Cunningham, however, declines, stating that a woman’s body has just been found in a summerhouse.

Cunningham reveals that the identity of the female hasn’t been confirmed as they’re waiting for the post-mortem results. As she’s questioning Jordan, Cunningham receives a call and she’s curious to hear that the body is that of Lucas’s wife Trina.
