Coming up on EastEnders

Eastenders jean danielle

On Monday, Danielle’s totally miserable about the situation with Ronnie; she’s not eating properly and having strange dreams about her mum but Stacey’s insistent that Danielle should come clean with Ronnie as soon as possible which prompts Danielle to sit and try to write a letter to Ronnie.

With Jean now back in Walford, Stacey begins to feel the strain of looking after both her mum and her best friend. Catching Danielle alone, Jean expresses her concern that she feels she’s not being a good mother to Stacey and so gives Danielle some money to take Stacey out for a drink. Reluctantly, Stacey later agrees to the night out…

When they’re at the club, Stacey and Danielle run out of cash and Stacey’s ready for going home, however, they then bump into Paul. Danielle immediately starts to feel awkward as he explains that Stacey told him about the abortion and says that if he’d known, he would’ve gone with her.

Eastenders stacey danielle

Furious that Stacey’s betrayed her confidence, Danielle hauls her into the toilets and as Danielle vents her anger on her best friend, Stacey threatens to tell Ronnie the truth about Danielle being her daughter because she says she’s at the end of her tether with Danielle’s crying and whining about it. Angrily pushing Stacey against the wall, Danielle tells her, “I decide when. I decide how. Understand? Go near her again and I will rip your head off…”

Meanwhile, Manda calls round to Minty’s flat, having found his address from the pottery class registration form, and she’s surprised to see him with Summer and jumps to the conclusion that he’s her father so she quickly makes her excuses and leaves. Later, Phil and Minty are discussing Manda’s reappearance on the Square and Phil suggests that Minty should seize the opportunity he could have with her, so, he heads over to the community centre where the pair then talk about ‘old times’.

Eastenders Manda and Minty

Minty’s shocked when Manda shows him a Valentine’s Day card he gave to her all those years ago and, relieved to hear that Minty was only looking after Summer for Dawn, Manda makes arrangements to have dinner with him.

Eastenders jack and ronnie

With the other residents, Ronnie’s surprised when she discovers that Roxy’s run up a £200 bar bill at R&R and asks to Jack to check with one of his old friends who the credit card belongs to prompting Jack to panic that his financial ‘assistance’ to Roxy will be uncovered.

Elsewhere, Ian decides he’s going run the fruit and veg stall tomorrow, Masood and Jane ‘make a connection’ and Billy bumps into Jay in the Square and hands him a key to the flat in case of an emergency. Jay meanwhile has found a way to make money – by selling out-of-date food.

In Tuesday’s episode, Peggy’s left reeling after seeing her ‘raunchy’ photo in the newspaper with the headline ‘Walford’s Poll Dancer’. Concerned how this will affect her campaign, she turns to Archie for advice, before heading out into the Square dressed in a very ‘conservative’ suit.

Eastenders manda and peggy

While she’s out, she bumps into Manda who’s on her way to see Minty. Recognising Peggy, Manda’s delighted to see her after all these years and hugs her before lifting her up in the air! Peggy though hasn’t a clue who she is!

Eastenders peggy

Continuing on her campaign trail, Peggy’s handing out leaflets near the tube station when she spots two girls who work at the massage parlour stubbing out their cigarettes on one of her posters. However, despite being furious about it, she’s distracted by PC Kenny Morris who’s sitting in a car taking photos of the parlour girls. With her brain in scheming overdrive, Peggy goes into a telephone box and makes a call to a journalist…

Meanwhile, despite Jack surprising her with a bottle of champagne, Ronnie’s still determined to discover whose credit card Roxy is using. Jack reassures her that he’ll have a name for her in a few weeks, but she wants to know sooner than that. However, her attentions soon turn to Archie, who’s surprised to hear about Roxy’s mysterious and new found credit.

Talking to Roxy later, Archie’s not impressed to learn that Jack’s bankrolling her to help pay towards Amy’s upbringing. Roxy then meets with Ronnie in R&R to talk things over and Ronnie warns her to “be careful” around Jack, but Roxy’s adamant – she’ll spend his money when and how she likes. Danielle later bumps into Roxy in the café and offers to babysit Amy whenever Roxy needs help. It’s not long before she takes her up on that offer and a few hours later, she calls Danielle asking if she’ll babysit, before getting her ‘glad rags’ on and going for a night on the town.

Eastenders peggy's campaign

Later, the reporter that Peggy called earlier turns up at The Vic and Peggy makes a speech to the locals. They then all make their way outside and down Bridge Street to the massage parlour.

Unbeknown to Peggy however, Ronnie and Roxy end up brawling near Gilly’s following an argument over the credit card. As the fight continues, PC Morris spots the pair and arrests them, believing them to be prostitutes. Peggy and her entourage – including the journalist – arrive just in time to see them being carted away!

Elsewhere, Shirley warns Minty about breaking Heather’s heart again with his potential relationship with Manda and Manda confronts him about his strange behaviour around Heather! Poor Minty!

Eastenders billy and jay

Jay continues to steal out-of-date food and tries to sell it while Billy’s fuming that Jay’s let himself into his flat and is sleeping in his bed. Also, Jane confides to Tanya that she thinks Masood has a crush on her.

Eastenders billy jay shrine

On Thursday, Billy’s still furious with Jay for going into his bedroom without permission but Jay’s more concerned about the ‘shrine’ Billy’s made to Honey and the kids. As Billy insists that his estranged wife will come back to him one day, Jay reminds him that you can’t make someone love you. Their argument escalates and when Billy suggests that Jay should go back to live with Bert, Jay storms out, while Billy makes yet another call to Honey…

Later, in The Vic, Janine’s busy telling Billy that he should stop dwelling on the past when Patrick confronts him over the Minute Mart thefts. Despite Billy’s protests that he “needed the money” Patrick sacks him from his cleaning job.

Back at the flat, Billy finds Jay who tells Billy how much of a “grafter” his dad was. Stating that he’s come to terms with the fact that his dad is dead and isn’t coming back, Jay again suggests that Billy similarly face the reality that Honey isn’t coming back either.

Billy decides that Jay and Janine are right and after making one final call to Honey, he packs away the photos of her while out on the Square, Jay looks at a photo of his dad, before pulling a hood over his head. He’s not going to be living with Bert so he’s now homeless.

Eastenders ronnie roxy cell

Meanwhile, Danielle’s looking after baby Amy and accuses Stacey of being jealous of her situation. Archie then turns up at the café to pick Amy up while Ronnie and Roxy sit in a cell after being arrested. The pair have a heart-to-heart in the cell, with Roxy admitting that she misses her sister and with tears running down her face, Ronnie confides to Roxy that she still loves Jack.

After the pair have been released from custody, Archie picks them up from the station. Ronnie, however, is furious at her father’s ongoing interference and tells him to leave her and Roxy alone.
