Coming up on Eastenders this week…
In Monday’s episode, Max is still in a critical condition in hospital while DI Keeble takes over the case and questions Jack about the hit-and-run. Jack later makes a mysterious phone call and then meets up with Turner, who confirms that Ronnie has given him a fake alibi.
Elsewhere, Stacey avoids Callum when he shouts out to her across the Square so he heads over to the Slater’s to confront her. But will she talk to him?
Tamwar organises a comedy night at the Vic and he invites Jane to do her Mrs Beale act but Jane turns him down so that she doesn’t embarrass Ian. However, Ian feels guilty after being sarcastic about her jokes and encourages her to take him up on the offer.
With the other residents of the Square, Bradley’s on edge as the police investigate the hit-and-run and Archie taunts Sean when Roxy asks Ronnie to go to her antenatal class with her.
On Tuesday, Tanya looks nervous when Abi’s questioned by the police about the hit-and-run, but did Abi see the driver? Tanya also learns that Ronnie gave Jack an alibi, while Bradley’s questioned and reveals that he hates his dad, but he swears he’s not a murderer.
Sean is wound up by Archie’s little digs, but Stacey tells him not to rise to it. Roxy’s dismissive when Sean brings it up and he makes it clear that their baby will be a Slater, not a Mitchell.
Jane prepares for Tamwar’s comedy night at the Vic and Tamwar is up first on the big night. His set goes down well and Jane wins around the crowd after some heckling – but where is Ian?
Also, Bianca makes plans for Tony’s birthday and Suzy and Phil send Ben home early from their holiday.
Thurday sees Callum talking Stacey into having dinner with him at Fargo’s, but he makes an insensitive joke and Stacey runs off. Callum later finds Stacey and the pair talk things through, ending up with their being reunited. Vinnie’s back in the Square and asks Callum if Stacey ‘knows’… but just what is Callum’s secret?
Bradley tells Lauren that he’s going away, but he feels guilty when she gets upset. Dot convinces Bradley to visit Max and he breaks down when he sees his unconscious dad. Are they only crocodile tears or the real thing?
Sean tells Roxy that he wants to move away from her family however, Archie offers to pay the first year’s rent for them for a flat in the Square, but Sean turns him down, which upsets Roxy.
Elsewhere, Whitney’s devastated when Tony spends his evening with Bianca instead of her.
The last visit of the week on Friday sees Jack learning from the police that his fingerprints are on the car’s steering wheel, but he reassures a suspicious Tanya that the prints are from a driving lesson he gave Darren. Later, Lauren breaks down to Tanya – what is she hiding?
Meanwhile, Stacey’s secretly troubled about Callum and confides in Danielle that Callum has strange scars on his legs. Stacey’s forced to confront Callum, who feels pressured into making a confession…
Archie invites Jean and Charlie over for lunch and digs for dirt on Sean, but he’s left disappointed when Charlie and Jean don’t provide any helpful gossip. Later, under pressure from Roxy, Sean agrees to accept the loan from Archie for a flat.
Also, Ben’s upset about having to move to Suzy’s so he spends time with a sympathetic Shirley.
