Coming up on Emmerdale

On Monday, the Dingles realise that they must raise cash to renovate Tug Ghyll for Debbie. Lisa decides that Zak’s failed her and takes control of the arrangements for Debbie’s return however she’s angered when Andy refuses to discuss joint access. However, when Gennie lets slip that Bob’s keeping a wad of cash in the shop, Aaron suggests to Zak that they rob him. Reluctantly, Zak agrees but they don’t tell Lisa. Will the Dingles succeed in robbing from their own patch?

Meanwhile, Nicola’s change of address causes uproar in the King household and although Jimmy admits that he didn’t write the love letter, he says he does want Nicola to live with him and asks Carl not to stand in the way of his happiness. After finding out that Sandy’s the author of the letter, Jimmy thanks him for helping out while Nicola
Elsewhere, Maisie convinces Nathan to make Andy an improved offer for the cattle and Andy’s pleased to strike a deal with Nathan, especially as it sees his rival having to grovel. Celebrating with a drink in the Woolpack, Andy’s taken aback when Maisie says she helped him. Andy doesn’t thank her so Maisie takes a more direct approach to get his attention and turns up at Butlers with a celebration hamper. Tipsy, the pair are having fun until she moves in for a kiss and he tells her he can’t do this and asks her to leave. Will Maisie ever get her man?
In Tuesday’s episode, Aaron takes it upon himself to break into the delivery van and steal Bob’s cash but Zak’s furious and almost hits Aaron for ruining the plan. However, they soon use the cash to buy furniture for Tug Ghyll.

Meanwhile, the delivery man blames Bob and Brenda, accusing her of distracting him while Bob made off with the money. A stand off develops when Bob denies any involvement and the supplier vows never to work with Bob again so poor Bob’s left in a much worse position that before.
Gennie’s torn whether to find out if the Dingles are behind the theft and is upset when her father warns her it goes against the Dingle code to “grass on your own”. Lisa’s mortified to hear that Zak’s participated in robbing a neighbour and warns him that it may affect Debbie’s chances with Sarah. Back at the shop, Bob reveals that the banks are recalling all his debts. Is Bob finished?

Over at the Woolpack, Diane advises Andy that it would be best for everyone if he allows Debbie access to Sarah when she’s released. Andy agrees and tells Lisa he’ll allow Debbie two hours supervised access that evening. When Debbie’s released from prison, she’s grateful to the Dingles for all they’ve done with Tug Ghyll and she has a tearful reunion with Sarah. Will Debbie and her family stay out of trouble as the fight for Sarah intensifies?
Meanwhile, Val’s all ears after hearing about Maisie’s interest in Andy. She explains to Val that she doesn’t give up easily and meets with Andy again during her shift so when he apologises for acting weird with – and tells Maisie he likes her – Maisie seizes the moment and asks for a guided tour of the farm, to which Andy agrees.

When they arrive at Butlers, they notice Nathan’s car and Maisie playfully suggests they hide from her brother. After a tryst in the barn, Andy agrees to see Maisie again as long as she keeps it a secret. Will Maisie be able to hide her new “friend” from the other Wyldes?
On Wednesday, Lisa and Zak have the misfortune of hearing about Bob’s problems first hand in the shop. Bob and Brenda spend all day trying to come up with ideas to save the business but a solution fails to present itself. Finally a visit from Nathan saves Bob’s bacon when he mentions that a project he’s working on will bring scores of workmen to the village.
Taking advantage of the fact that the men will be working through the night, Bob announces that the café will be opening 24 hours a day. Lisa’s mortified to discover what Bob’s done when he reveals he’s had to choose between seeing the twins and providing for them. Lisa announces to Zak that she’s ashamed of him and states that he’s failed the family. Can Lisa find a way to help Bob?
Meanwhile, Gennie refuses to acknowledge Lisa at work and when Lisa tries to apologise, Gennie says she wants nothing to do with her family until they pay the money back. Determined that a 24 hour café will save the day, Bob’s delighted when a guilty Gennie agrees to work for him. Will Gennie’s penance salve her guilty conscience?

Elsewhere, Mark’s annoyed with Nathan after he accuses Maisie of seeing Andy behind their backs. She denies his claims but tells a worried Andy about her brother’s suspicions. To throw her parents off the scent, Maisie coerces Marlon into pretending to be her boyfriend and in return, she’ll put in a good word with Natasha. After he agrees, Maisie spreads the news to Mark and Nathan who, although shocked, are relieved it’s not Andy. Can Maisie maintain her strange lie?

In Thursday’s episode, Debbie’s apprehensive before seeing Jasmine again, especially after receiving a cold reception from Sandy at Mulberry. When Debbie visits Jasmine in prison, the atmosphere is difficult but when Debbie apologises for her lover’s situation, Jasmine assures her that prison is where she deserves to be.
Debbie tries to make Jasmine feel better by promising to wait for her but is stunned when the reply is a negative one. Jasmine makes it clear that they both need to move on with their lives so the girls say a tearful final goodbye and Debbie promises to keep an eye out for Sandy. Can Debbie now focus on the battle for Sarah?
At the café Brenda shows Gennie a new “pint-sized” menu and explains they need new stock quickly. With some encouragement from Gennie, Shadrach purloins some goods and sells them to Brenda at a discounted rate however, disaster strikes when it transpires that the tins of food are all wrongly labelled and all the customers angrily storm out.

Bob and Brenda have a furious row when he accuses her of blowing the last bit of cash he has on dodgy produce, unaware that she paid for it herself. Brenda quits her job on the spot and declares she’s moving out before storming out.
Meanwhile, Chas is thrown to receive an invite to Carl and Lexi’s wedding while Aaron takes delight in telling Paddy about it. After refusing Paddy’s offer to confide in him, Chas feels bad and suspects he knows about the wedding invitation. She guiltily races after Paddy as he goes on his rounds and produces the letter. Chas admits that she feels weird but isn’t jealous and pledges her future to Paddy. Satisfied, they kiss. Will Chas be able to put Carl out of her mind?
On Friday, Bob worries that Brenda may sever all ties with him permanently, despite Gennie insisting that she’ll come round. Sensing that Bob’s tired out and close to cracking, Gennie gives him a hug and suggests he get some rest. However, Bob heads through to the shop but quickly falls asleep. He’s only woken by Brenda who explains that he’d left the till wide open.

Bob and Brenda resolve their differences but he drops a bombshell and admits that without the banks’ support, he has no choice but to sell the business immediately by auction. Will Bob lose everything?
Meanwhile, Natasha ropes Nathan into helping her interview for a new marketing manager at Home Farm. Natasha takes Mark to a disused barn on the estate and suggests they turn it into a farm shop, however, the sight of Faye’s car loitering on their borders once more causes Mark to be distracted. After looking around the barn, Mark notices that the car’s moved but there’s no sign of Faye anywhere.
As the Wyldes drive off, Faye watches them from a distance with a copy of Horse and House magazine in her hand. After following Natasha into the Woolpack, she overhears a conversation about the job at Home Farm. Will Faye soon reveal her intentions?
Elsewhere, Lexi ropes in reluctant volunteers for her hen night while Jimmy makes plans for Carl’s stag do and despite Carl’s express wishes, Jimmy asks Jake to book them a stripper. Later, Jimmy jokes about what he’s got in store for his brother, but Carl’s in a sour mood and clearly isn’t looking forward to his stag night at all. Will Carl and Lexi’s vastly different attitudes to the wedding start to cause problems?
