In the village, Ryan’s excitedly packing his belongings for Dubai and is devastated when Mark arrives and informs him there’s no longer a job there for him.

Nathan’s puzzled when he witnesses them rowing and is later stunned when Ryan angrily blurts out that his dad was the one who sorted the job for him in the first place and has messed him around. Nathan quickly comes to the conclusion that his dad has had an affair with Faye and is furious as he confronts him.

Panicked, Mark admits he had a relationship with Faye but claims it happened six months ago. Nathan’s irate when he breaks the news to Natasha who confirms she already knows. She urges him to keep it to himself and Mark’s saddened when he tells him he’s lost all respect for him.

Natasha asks her to leave but she’s revelling as she tells Mark it means the world to her that he cares about his son and the time has now come to tell Ryan the truth. Natasha finally snaps as Faye continues to try and convince Mark to tell Ryan everything, and as she ushers her out, Faye warns her that her perfect life is falling apart. When he refuses, Nathan threatens to tell Will about his affair, and a worried Mark is forced to acquiesce.

In the pub, Nathan gives Cain the money and warns him not to come asking for more. Cain quickly puts him in his place, warning him never to speak to him like that again and if he needs more money, he’ll ask for it. Nathan knows he’s out of his league. Will he regret getting involved with Cain?

However, when Carl questions if she’ll be able to forget about it, she knows he’s right. Later, he arrives at the surgery and Chas reiterates that he’s wasting his time; she’s with Paddy and just because he’s single, it doesn’t mean she’s suddenly available to him. She feels guilty about betraying Paddy and pleads with Carl not to barge his way back into her life because she’s moved on and she’s happy. Carl persists and tells her just because he can’t have her, doesn’t mean he stops wanting her. Will Carl let Chas forget him?

yay am glad katie and ryan kiss are good couple. Poor Debbie, I thought she was great with Michael and it’s time she had a good relationship although I know she goes to his hotel, kisses him and says she knows he wont end things with the other woman but as long as they can continue to have fun she’s all his.
