Coming up on Emmerdale this week…

On Monday, Jo’s horrified when local farmhand Mick Naylor hands her a bill claiming that his boss’s cows have gone onto her land through her broken fence and Sam has mistakenly sold them. A stressed-out Jo bursts into tears, but Diane agrees to bail her out.

Elsewhere in the village, Edna meets up with Peter and tells him she needs the prize car back, but Peter says he’s sold it. He tells Edna that he doesn’t care about either her or Lily. A heartbroken Edna lies to Lily and says that Peter has paid up; she plans to find the money herself.

Brenda’s happy that Bob’s more cheerful and gives herself credit for the change in him. Gennie begs Brenda to see that she’s misreading Bob’s friendliness for something more but Brenda angrily denies Gennie’s accusations.

The village’s Mrs Nasty, Nicola, surprises herself when she organises the first official choir practice.

In Tuesday’s episode, Bob finally cottons on that Brenda has the hots for him when Terry drops hints about it after Brenda invites him to dinner. Bob brings the twins along to make it clear that it won’t be a romantic evening for two, but will Brenda back off?

Jo meets with Mick and his grandson Lee to resolve the situation with the cattle and Diane offers to pay Mick to help Jo on the farm. Andy’s annoyed by it but Mick attempts to smooth the waters.

Edna forces Lily to confess to the factory workers that she gave the car away. Lily insists that they will get the money owed to them while Edna secretly arranges to withdraw her savings.

Finally, Victoria starts her work experience at the vet’s with Paddy.

On Wednesday, Lily struggles to cope with going to work and later, she suddenly collapses after Val has a go at her. Val thinks she’s faking but Lily visits Dr Abbott and confesses that her health has been troubling her recently. Could it be serious?

Andy meanwhile is frustrated that Diane’s paying Mick to help at the farm and when Lee asks Jo to meet up with him at the village bonfire, Andy sees them together and is seething.

Terry’s chuffed when Bob tells him that Brenda revealed that she fancied him. Terry asks Brenda on a date when he sees her at the village bonfire, not realising she was lying to Bob to cover her real feelings.

Also, Victoria steals a kitten from the vet’s when she’s worried about its unkind owner.

Thursday’s hour long episode sees Anna and Matthew back from their trip. Anna’s put out when Matthew flirts with a client and blurts out that she’s in love with him! Later, Donald’s furious when Anna burns the information she had on the Kings. How will he deal with her betrayal?

Lily feels faint during her lunch break at work and a worried Rodney takes her to hospital. Lily’s given tests and told to return for a CT scan but she makes Rodney swear not to tell anyone.

Jo’s grateful for Mick and Lee’s help around the farm and she’s touched when Lee cooks dinner for her. She later agrees to go to The Woolpack for a drink, but Andy struggles to contain his jealousy.

Elsewhere, Brenda’s pleasantly surprised when she enjoys her date with Terry.

Friday’s trip to Yorkshire sees Lily going for her CT scan, after which she’s told the shocking news that she has a cerebral aneurism – a swollen blood vessel in her brain – and she needs an operation. Lily’s in denial and tells Rodney she’s going to refuse the op.

Jasmine asks Shane if he wants to team up to bring down the MacFarlanes, but Shane wants her to steer well clear. Later, Jasmine gets herself a work trial at the MacFarlanes’ club to go undercover.

Anna’s devastated that Donald has rejected her yet again, while Matthew meets the same kind of animosity from Carl. Later, Donald invites the Kings’ client round to discuss business in an effort to bring down the King brothers and their business.
