Coming up this week on Coronation Street

On Monday, Carla tells Tony that she has a surprise in store for him and as he waits in the office, she goes shopping with Leanne. Tony’s less than impressed when the surprise turns out to be his brother Pat, who Carla’s invited to their wedding.

Tony pretends to be delighted that his brother’s shown up but knows he has to keep Pat away from Maria because she still believes that Liam was Tony’s best man because Pat refused.

There’s more trouble for Tony when Jed Stone starts to make life difficult for him by demanding more money and later, Jed fills an interested Kevin and Sally in on his dealings with Tony.

Meanwhile, Steve’s desperate to get away so he can spend some time with Becky but Michelle wants him to organise farewell drinks for her parents. He manages to grab a few minutes in the car with Becky and tells her that project Bad Boyfriend is working; he’s starting to get on Michelle’s nerves. However, when Michelle’s dad jokes about Steve proposing to Michelle, Becky’s less than impressed and tells Steve that she doesn’t want to be his “bit on the side.”

Elsewhere, Norris finally wins a competition but still isn’t happy and Peter invites Leanne out for a drink.

In Wednesday’s hour long episode, it’s the day of Tony and Carla’s wedding, which is a day that Tony had begun to think would never happen. As he prepares to head off to the hotel, Pat’s surprised by the amount of animosity toward his brother from Emily, Jed and Kevin.

Meanwhile, Leanne arrives at Carla’s flat, half expecting her to have done a bunk but she seems determined to go ahead with the nuptials. She arrives at the hotel looking every bit the blushing bride and as bagpipes play, she walks down the aisle and marries a delighted Tony.

At the Rovers, Steve’s managed to push Michelle to the end of her tether by first leaving the living room in a state and then by not getting ready for the wedding in time. She tells him to stay behind at the pub and sort himself out much to Steve’s delight as this leaves him free to spend the entire day with Becky.

Back with the wedding, Maria arrives wearing the last present that Liam gave her. She’s dreading the day but is determined to get through it. With the champagne flowing, Sally’s getting steadily more drunk and when Carla makes a sarcastic remark about Kevin, she sees red. Then, when she spots an upset Maria leaving the reception, she follows her.

As Maria breaks down and tells Sally about how perfect Liam was and how she can’t cope without him, a drunken Sally can’t contain herself any longer and tells Maria about Liam and Carla’s affair.

When a stunned Rosie arrives to witness what her mum’s done, Sally snatches her mobile phone and shows Maria the video footage as proof about Liam and Carla.

Devastated and furious, Maria races through the hotel determined to have it out with Carla. Will she get to her before the happy couple leave for their honeymoon?

Elsewhere, Ken and Peter row again over Peter’s lack of parenting skills and Norris goes for a drink with Mary.

On Friday, it’s the morning after the night before and Maria’s in a state of shock. She wants answers and is determined to find out exactly what was going on between Liam and Carla. Michelle tries to convince her that a kiss doesn’t necessarily mean an affair, but Tom admits that he did once wonder if there was something going on between the pair.

Maria’s like a woman possessed and she realises that there’s one person who might know a little bit more – Rosie Webster. Maria waits for her to leave the factory and tackles her about Liam and Carla, but Maria’s shocked by what Rosie tells her.

Elsewhere, Peter’s trying to get his act together and proudly tells Deirdre that he’s set three alarm clocks to ensure that he and Simon wake up and got ready for school in time. However, he still hasn’t quite got the hang of it and forgets Simon’s school bag.

Tina’s worried about her dad and the amount of cash he’s splashing out on Gail’s new kitchen. When he then gives her a jewellery box, Tina asks him if he’s taken out a dodgy loan. Secretly, she’s pleased with the present but is concerned about her father.

Finally, Molly almost catches Tyrone selling some of Pam’s knock-off perfume.

In Sunday’s episode, a stunned Maria listens as Rosie reveals that she’d shown the Carla and Liam footage to Tony. With her thoughts racing, she starts to analyse everything she’s been told and works out that Tony knew about the kiss before he asked Liam to be best man but what does all it all mean?

At The Rovers, Liz suggests to Michelle that she organise a night of romance with Steve so Michelle tells a surprised Steve that she’s cooking him dinner. Becky isn’t worried about this development though until Liz lets slip that she walked in on Steve and Michelle kissing in the back room. Is Steve ever going to build up the courage to finish things with Michelle?

Molly meanwhile grows increasingly suspicious of Tyrone’s behaviour when she sees him spending more time with Minnie. Unaware that his real reason for talking to Minnie is to sell her cheap perfume, she begins to wonder if something’s going on. He convinces her that he doesn’t fancy Minnie, but just how long can he keep the details of his and Pam’s dodgy dealings a secret?

Elsewhere, Peter thinks he and Leanne are getting closer when he invites her round for a pizza and she asks if she can read Simon a story. However, when Peter moves in for a kiss, Leanne is decidedly cool with him.
