Legendary comedian, Ronnie Corbett is to go head to head with fiery chef, Gordon Ramsay in a battle of the kitchen shows.

Corbett is launching his new show, ‘Corbett’s Cookbook’ on BBC, in the hope that it will rival Channel 4’s The F Word.

An insider said: “Ronnie is well known for his comedy work but few people know he’s a really talented chef.

“He’ll be uncovering the kind of stuff people don’t cook much any more.”

Ronnie recently appeared on The F Word alongside Ramsay, he even managed to beat Ramsay in the weekly cooking challenge, when his pasta was voted more tasty that bad tempered Gordon’s.
