Coronation Street actor, Michael Le Vell (Kevin Webster) threatens to bite someone’s nose off in bar room brawl!
Coronation Street star, Michael Le Vell, has admitted to getting into a pub row during a recent trip to Australia where he threatened to bite someone’s nose off!
The actor, who plays Kevin Webster in the award-winning soap, took to social networking site, Facebook, to voice his remorse at the situation posting: “Apparently I said I would bite someone’s nose off. If anyone can cock up big style… ”
Le Vell, real name Michael Turner, then went on to add: “Wow, Oz is a big lonely place. Row empty house.”
This spurred a flurry of support for the star, who has recently had charges of child abuse dropped against him, with one of his friends commenting: “Mike you know life’s too short for rows. Make up please.” His sister Susan urged him to “keep calm and chill out”.
Another said: “If said in drink you should be forgiven.” And someone else added: “If you did not bite the nose, no harm done. Don’t get too drunk.”
And another stating: “He had been having the time of his life until this happened. Now he is cutting a bit of a lonely figure.”
Le Vell had flown over to Australia a week ago to visit his friend, physiotherapist Olivia Wallis, in Brisbane, whilst his divorce from his wife of 25 years Janette, was in process.
Before the spat Le Vell had posted this picture of the two of them in a bar on the same site, as well as pictures of him sunning himself.
A Corrie spokesman last night declined to comment.
