Coronation Street star Kym Marsh has finally tied the knot with her former Hollyoaks hunk, Jamie Lomas.

Marsh and Lomas have been going out for four years, and engaged for two, but their relationship has been through more ups and downs than a Thorpe Park ride tester!

Marsh, who plays Michelle Connor in the award-winning ITV soap, Coronation Street, started seeing Lomas in 2008 after her marriage to former EastEnders actor, Jack Ryder, ended.

The couple discovered that they were expecting a baby the same year, but tragedy struck when their little boy, Archie, survived only a matter of minutes after being born prematurely at 18 weeks.

Since then the couple have gone on to have a healthy baby girl, named Polly, but rumours about Lomas, who played Warren Fox in the hit Channel 4 soap, Hollyoaks, cheating on Marsh started to circulate faster than flu around a bingo hall!

The couple, who split briefly following the death of Archie, fought off the rumours and stood by each other, despite Lomas’ temporary visit to the USA to find work, and finally got married at the weekend.

The ceremony took place Nunsmere Hall in Cheshire in front of Kym’s children Emily, 14, and David, 17, and the couple’s baby daughter Polly, and the happy couple were joined in their celebrations later by guests including Marsh’s Corrie co-stars, Brooke Vincent, Michelle Keegan and Antony Cotton and Lomas’ sister, Emmerdale star Charley Webb.

Charley took to social networking site, Twitter, to share her joy at her brother finally marrying the woman who has become her firm best friend, tweeting: “Wedding was amazing!! One of the best days of my 24years… @msm4rsh is finally Mrs Lomas and my new sis! SO proud of my bro @jamielomas1! X”

Former Emmerdale star Sheree Murphy took to the site the following day, to tweet to followers: “Feeling slightly delicate this morning… Worth it though @msm4rsh and @jamielomas1… Fantastic wedding wiQ
