Alison King has returned with a bang and when filming a fight scene on Corrie this week, she managed to injure a co-star.

Robert Beck – hitman Jimmy Dockerson was grappling with Alison when the pair fell off a table. He sprained his thumb and she sustained some bruising. Filming had to be suspended whilst Beck had medical attention.

A soap source told The Mirror: “It just goes to show how seriously Coronation stars take their work.

“Alison and Rob were determined to get the scene just right so they kept going until the director had exactly what he needed.

“No one was badly hurt and filming will restart next week.”
