Don’t read on if you don’t want to know!
It’s going to be an eventful Christmas up North! In Coronation Street, Tony Gordon, sick of Jed Stone’s attempts at blackmail, strangles him to death with a negligee he’s bought Carla for Christmas.
Desperate to hide his body until he can dispose of it, he dumps the corpse inside a wheelie bin at the factory then has to spend hours trying to keep the factory girls away from it while they have their Christmas party at the factory.
Elsewhere, Gail’s hoping for a quiet family Christmas but it doesn’t last long when the Windasses turn up.
Meanwhile, Maria’s more convinced than ever that Tony murdered Liam and in desperation, scrawls the word murderer on the outside of the factory in red paint… will Tony be forced to get rid of Maria too?
Over in Yorkshire, Victoria’s messing about on the frozen lake at Home Farm, but when the ice gives way, she’s plunged into the murky depths. She grabs a hand desperately, thinking it’s someone going to pull her out, but in fact, the hand is lifeless…
Daz eventually manages to rescue her after bravely diving in after her but she’s unconscious. She spends the night in hospital recovering but the next day, after terrible nightmares, she realises she has to tell someone that there’s a dead body in the water.
At the church, Nicola gathers many of the villagers for a sit-in protest at the sale of the church to David and Eric.
