Freshly after having her hopes dashed by burly builder, Jason Grimshaw, you would think that Coronation Street’s Becky Granger would have had enough of men.
But the next few weeks will see her get things together with taxi firm boss, Lloyd.
Lloyd offers Becky a shoulder to cry on after Jason makes it clear that their fling was purely a one night thing, but Becky refuses his sympathy, saying:
“I don’t need your sympathy, thanks. So stop stalking me.”
Lloyd then announces: “Look, I’m going to the pub. I don’t care if you’re there or not.
“But if you do come I promise I won’t try to cop off with you – which in turn doesn’t mean I think you’re a minger.”
So predictably Becky follows Lloyd to the Rovers and romance blossoms.
An insider told The Daily Star: “Lloyd and Becky are a good match because they are both popular characters.
“But in the usual Corrie tradition their relationship will certainly be anything but plain sailing.”
