Coronation Street star Ben Price has revealed that the year and a half he spent at home looking after his baby daughter was one of the hardest times of his life.

Describing the experience as a ‘f***ing nightmare!’ Ben told new! magazine:

“Childcare for our daughter Paloma fell through and my wife was at work, so I said, “OK, I’ll give it a couple of weeks.”

“A year and a half later, I was still looking after her.”

“It’s a f***ing nightmare! Kids are hard work, believe me”, he told the magazine.

However, the experience did have it’s benefits. Ben added:

“I can sit down with any mother and talk about sleeping, feeding and changing nappies now”

“It’s mental and physical with a child. You’re always on the edge, but I really feel I know my daughter, so it’s nice.”
