Coronation Street: Blanche Is In Hospital
Coronation Street actress Maggie Jones, who plays battle-axe Blanche Hunt, is in hospital after a fall.
The 73-year-old actress injured her knee and shoulder when she fell at Manchester’s luxury Marriott Manchester Victoria & Albert Hotel, where she lives when she is filming.
A show spokesman revealed that Maggie will be taking a two week break from filming while she recovers.
The spokesman added: “The cast and crew of Coronation Street wish her a speedy recovery and hope to see her soon. She is loved by everyone.”
