Coronation Street bosses are so pleased with how show newbie, Michelle Keegan has been received by fans, that they are rewarding her with a larger role in the show.
Michelle plays Tina McIntyre, the girlfriend of David Platt and recently became the talk of staffrooms everywhere after she aborted Davids baby without telling him.
An insider told The People: “Tina will fall out with her parents and turn up on the Platts’ doorstep for a place to stay. We will introduce her wider family so we can create more storylines for her. It shows how impressed everyone is with Michelle.”
