Wedding days are supposed to be full of happiness and love but true to form, Coronation Street’s upcoming double wedding will be full of angst and worry when it airs this Friday night.

In the episode we will be left wondering until the very last minute as to whether Kylie will accept Gail McIntyre’s bribe and ditch David Platt at the altar, and whether or not Norris Cole will blow the whistle and reveal that Graeme and Xin’s plans to marry are all part of an immigration scam.

At least Xin has the sense to turn up looking like a traditional bride. In direct contrast, Kylie sports an outfit that would be more fitting in the Moulin Rouge than in a registry office in Weatherfield. In the pictures below you can see that Gail looks mortified by her future daughter in law, especially considering that she gave her a wad of cash to buy the outfit.
