Coronation Street Christmas schedule times, and Christmas Day episode spoilers!
ITV have just announced the scheduling for Corrie’s Christmas week episodes, which we have for you after the jump…
And they’ve also now released a more detailed synopsis of the storylines for the Christmas Day episode, which airs at 8pm and is on for a glorious hour of festive cobbles fun, and the obligatory misery of course!
On Christmas Day, the Barlows are celebrating in their usual understated way, with only mum Deirdre (Anne Kirkbride) aware that Tracy (Kate Ford) miscarried her twins before she had a row with Becky (Katherine Kelly).
And despite Tracy’s fears that Steve won’t want her now she’s not pregnant, he assures her that’s not true, and tells her that the only person he blames for the miscarriage is Becky.
To prove he means what he says, he produces an expensive engagement ring, and asks Tracy to marry him. Overjoyed, she of course accepts!
Becky meanwhile is drowning her sorrows, alone in her flat, having refused Kylie Platt’s (Paula Lane) offer of Christmas dinner. However, she is having a BBQ, but there’s not a turkey in sight…
She’s setting fire to every photograph she has that features Steve, but as the booze takes hold of her, she slips off to sleep, leaving the pile of photographs smoldering away!
When Nick (Ben Price) sees smoke coming out of the window of the flat as he’s passing, he calls the fire brigade and proceeds to break down the door to get to Becky, praying he’s not too late.
Elsewhere, Carla (Alison King) unwraps the necklace Peter (Chris Gascoyne) bought her, and when later in the day, Stella sees it, she’s instantly suspicious of Peter and Carla. And as we reported earlier, her fears are confirmed when she then sees them sharing an illicit kiss.
Back on the Street, Ches (Sam Aston) and Katy (Georgia May Foote) are delighted to be able to bring baby Joseph home, and Gary’s (Mikey North) chuffed when he gets a Christmas kiss from Izzy (Cherylee Houston).
