Coronation Street actor, Craig Charles has been offered a new three year contract with the show.
Craig, who plays Lloyd Mullaney on the ITV soap opera was suspended last year after the tabloids reported on his drink and drug problems, however Craig is said to have gotten his life back on track and Corrie bosses believe he is an integral character on the show.
“I’m delighted. Corrie is a great place to work and there are some fantastic storylines being lined up for me,” Craig revealed. “Life is good right now - I’m a very happy man.”
A Street source told The People: “He has worked really hard and proved himself. There were no doubts about offering a longer contract.”
