Coronation Street: Craig Kelly Loves The Older Ladies
Coronation Street star Craig Kelly has revealed that he loves the attention he gets from the OAPs.
The former Queer As Folk actor told how his fanbase has altered since he joined the ITV soap and speaking to the Sunday Mirror, he explained: “When I was in Queer As Folk, although my character was gay, two thirds of my fanmail was from women. Probably because my character was sweet and loveable, and a bit sexy.
“Now, it’s mostly from women in their 70s and 80s. Maybe they want to mother me. I have a very dedicated fan called Elsie, who is 91.”
