It was really only a matter of time before the evil and twisted David Platt showed his true colours once more.

The incident occurs when david finds out that his ex-girlfriend Tina was pregnant, but his mum took her to an abortion clinic.

A Corrie insider revealed: “These are some of the most dramatic scenes of the year. David’s rage is off the dial.

“Normally he takes his time plotting revenge on his enemies but on this occasion he snaps.

“He literally throws Gail down the stairs and she is knocked out cold.”

The source added: “Gail understands exactly what Tina is going through. They both agree David shouldn’t be told about the baby and eventually Tina decides to go through with an abortion.”
