Coronation Street star Emma Edmondson has spoken out about the departures of major cast members in recent months.

The show has lost long term characters such as Sarah Platt, Cilla Battersby, Les Battersby and Vera Duckworth

“There have been great losses and, for many people, watching it has been very traumatic,” Emma (aka Mel Morton) told the Daily Star Sunday. “To be honest, it’s been very traumatic for me.”

She’s easily traumatised isn’t she?
