Coronation Street: Filming Stopped After Official Documents Found

Coronation StreetFilming on Coronation Street was halted this week after the cast turned up a sheath of official ITV documents.

When filming scenes in the Underworld factory, some of the cast including Vicky Entwhistle (Janice Battersby) and Antony Cotton (Sean Tully) found official ITV documents and records in a filing cabinet that had been moved from ITV headquarters in Manchester.

A show source told The Sun: “It was hilarious — one minute it was just a normal day, the next everyone was in hysterics. Everyone was diving in to see if there was anything about someone they knew.”

“Some of the expenses claims were pretty shocking - there were some for bar bills at the BAFTA awards that ran into thousands. Nobody could get any work done. They were too busy gossiping about it.”

A Coronation Street spokeswoman added: “Some old Granada papers dating back to the 1990s were used to depict documents from the Underworld office. They’ve been removed.”

I believe this punishment was not justified. Emily Parr obviousley didn’t mean to cause offence to Charley. It is just another example of how careless young people can be. Emily is supposed to be well educated yet she has fallen into a trap created by Charley. Who when everyone else stated not to carry on disscussing the matter, Charley did and therefore caused Emily to dig herself deeper and deeper. Charley has used the term before in the house. I ask why hasn’t been noted and shown like this incident is. Contradicting i believe. Emily shouldn’t be used as a scapegoat and should not be put in the same place as jade goody who did say racist slurs on purpose many of times. This was not made to offend anyone. Emily should be left alone after this once and for all.
