I can’t wait to watch tonight’s Coronation Street when someone finally gives Sally Webster the slapping she deserves!

Fiz has been watching Sally closely for a while now, as she is convinced that the middle aged student is making a play for her man, John Stapes.

Tonight Fiz sees, what she thinks is John and Sally snogging and lays one on Sal, but John soon reveals that he was actually just helping Sally get something out of her eye.

A Corrie insider told the Daily Star: “Fiz is determined to prove Sally is after her man and ends up spying on her like a hawk.

“John goes into the factory to speak to Sally about Rosie’s budding relationship with a boy at school.

“He is hoping to cover his tracks over their affair by playing the concerned teacher. But when John helps Sally to get something out of her eye during the chat, Fiz barges in and belts the mum-of-two across the face.”

The source added:

“Fiz has seen how close Sally and John have become while he has been helping with her English.

“She doesn’t think for one second that it is Rosie she should be wary of. After the punch-up Fiz ends up causing even more trouble for Sally by warning her husband Kevin that he should keep an eye on his wife.

“Sally has strayed before and Kevin is horrified that she may be sleeping with another man all over again.”
