In a shock Coronation Street storyline, the most famous British transsexual is to come a cropper (if you pardon the pun!)

Hayley will soon discover that she fathered a son twenty years ago, while she was still a man. She hires an investigator to help her track Christian (Andrew Turner) down, and after at first pretending to be his aunt, she eventually reveals her true identity.

Her son lashes out, and Hayley is left in a pool of blood in a remote beauty spot.

A source told The Sun:

“Christian is utterly devastated. He believed her when she said she was his aunty and had accepted her as a new part of his family. But once she comes clean, he can’t control his anger and just lashes out at her. It’s a pretty gruesome scene - and there is plenty of blood.”
