Helen Flanagan has decided to leave school so that she can properly concentrate on her role as Rosie Webster in ITV soap opera, Coronation Street.
“I left a couple of weeks ago after finishing my AS course,” Flanagan told the Sunday Mirror. “I wanted to concentrate on Coronation Street. I want to be an actress so I figured this was a really good opportunity. I went to a good school and made some great friends, but I’m really happy working and I can always return to my education in the future.”
Asked about what the future has in store for her character, Helen replied: “I’d love Rosie to turn into an unpleasant character - someone bitchy or a real minx, that would be fun. And I’d definitely love her to have another boyfriend - someone really good looking, of course!”
