Poor old Becky Granger! She has had nothing but bad luck when it comes to men this year but in the New Year she ends up with yet another man related dilemna.

We have seen Becky get together with Steve McDonald this autumn but ex boyfriend Jason Grimshaw is keen to win her back. In the New Year he enters Roy’s Rolls dressed as a naval officer and recreates the scene from An Officer And A Gentleman when he proposes to her. However just as Becky goes to answer Steve turns up and begs her to marry him instead.

A Corrie source told The Daily Star: “Men are like buses for Becky. She waits years for one, and two come along at once.

“Both proposals come out of the blue and she’s thrilled by Jason’s grand gesture, but Steve’s proposal leaves her with a massive headache.

“Fans will have to wait and see who she picks.”
