Coronation Star, Katherine Kelly, has claimed that she is nothing like her soap character, Becky Grainger!

The actress told New! magazine: “The only similarities are that she’s a hard worker and she’s up for a laugh.

“Besides that we’ve nothing in common. I don’t like cider for starters!”

Katherine may not think much of her character, but she revealed that her job isn’t all bad. In fact she seemed to thoroughly enjoy snogging her co-star Ryan Thomas.

She said: “I’ve had a couple of people say how lucky I am to kiss him - and I am!

“When he was up for sexiest male at the British Soap Awards last month I thought, ‘Yeah he’s bloody gorgeous.’ I’m not surprised there is jealousy from the fans.”
