Coronation Street actress Kim Ryder has revealed that she is terrified of her son having a child at 18 years old as she did.
Kim’s son, David is now twelve, but if he had a child at eighteen as she did, Kim would be a grandma at a mere 35 years of age.
Ryder told Sunday magazine: “Technically, I could be a grandmother at 35 - that’s frightening.
“I hadn’t planned to be a mum at 18. And if my kids told me they wanted to have their own children at that age, I would tell them what a bad idea it is.”
But she has insisted that she would support her children if they did become young parents and revealed she would still like to have more children herself, saying: “It’s even more scary because I definitely want another child of my own. It’s been almost 10 years since I last gave birth and I’m sure a lot has changed.”
