In shocking scenes due to hit our screens next month, Coronation Street’s very own prostitute, Leanne Battersby finds herself kidnapped by Paul Connor.

Paul gets the shock of his life when he phones a high class escort agency only to be met by Leanne in a hotel room. He is then forced to tell his wife Carla that he uses prostitutes, she then reveals all to Paul’s brother Liam who is dating Leanne.

Paul meets up with Leanne to sort things out but ends up bundling her into the boot of his car before he speeds off and gets involved in a high speed car crash. He dies but Leanne survives with just a broken rib.

A Corrie source said: “Paul is furious it has all come out and is really drunk when he meets Leanne to sort something out.

“He bundles her in the boot as he tries to think what to do next. Minutes later, he crashes and is thrown through the windscreen.

“Luckily for Leanne, her being in the boot means she only suffers a cracked rib and cuts and bruises.”
