Yesterday we reported that Coronation Street star Maggie Jones was critically ill, after suffering a fall and rupturing her spleen.

The good news today, is that Maggie is now off life support and is hopefully beginning her recovery.

A source told The Sun that Maggie has made “a bit of progress” although the next 48 hours “remain crucial.”
