Finally Carla Connor gets what is coming to her next week, when Maria tires of her attempts to ruin her wedding and belts her one at the reception.

An insider told The Sun: “The whole nation will cheer as Maria finally gives Carla what she deserves. She’s had to put up with all sorts of spitefulness.”

You can see the wedding scenes on the ITV1 soap next Monday at 8.30pm.
