In Coronation Street this week, Maria Connor is out for revenge and Tony Gordon’s days would be numbered if she got her way!

Maria is told off by police for harrassing Tony and happens to see him whilst she is driving home. The widow sees red and drives straight at him. She has second thoughts at the last minute and tries to swerve, but it’s too late and she still knocks him over and continues to smash her car into the factory wall.

Tony, having as many lives as a cat, survives with some minor injuries but continues with his mind games as he produces a scared looking Jed, seemingly back from the dead.

Maria later manages to corner Jed and notices the strangulation marks around his neck, but will he help her catch Tony?
