Coronation Street’s Tyrone is in for a lonely Christmas as his fiance Molly dumps him weeks before their wedding.

Molly accuses Tyrone of having an affair with the new kebab girl, Minnie Chandra (Poppy Jhakra), after she sees her wearing his t shirt and smells her perfume on him.

She tells him: “Admit it. You’ve been lying to me for months. All that rubbish about lifting weights at the gym … the heaviest thing you’ve lifted lately is a chunky Kit Kat.”

Tyrone tries to tell her the truth about what he’s been up to and even Jack Duckworth gets involved but Molly still opts to move back in with her dad.
