Coronation Street Moves To Thursday Nights

After 50 years of airing every Wednesday evening, Coronation Street is moving to a new Thursday timeslot.

From the 23rd July the ITV soap opera will air at 8.30pm on Thursday night, preceded by an Emmerdale double bill.

I am a little bit gutted and I don’t know how we’re supposed to fill Wednesday evening’s now. I’m no Emmerdale fan and I love nothing more than sitting down at 7.30 pm each night and getting my Eastenders or Corrie fix. How dare ITV break my habit of a lifetime!

   How Dare ITV move Coronation Sreet after all these years. There is absolute rubbish on tv as it is and corrie nicely broke that up through the middle of the week and now you want (well have) moved it giving us nothing to look forward to to break up the middle of the week with. Nice one ITV. So if there is a protest or a petition i would love to find out and sign it
