Coronation Street: Nigel Havers to play male escort
Nigel Havers is to join the cast of Coronation Street, as a male escort.
Nigel will show up at an event this Christmas with an old pal of Audrey’s, played by Rula Lenska. The pal will tell Audrey that she actually hired ‘Lewis’ to accompany her for the night.
Audrey then considers hiring Lewis for an upcoming dinner she has planned. The Sun reports that Havers, last seen in US drama Brother’s and Sisters, will appear on the show from the 18th of December and continue right into 2010.

Nigel Havers will make a fantastic addition to the Street – Unfortunately I doubt the role will go on for long, but it will be nice to see him for a couple of episodes. He’ll make a fine escort!
