Samia Smith may be playing a pregnant woman in ITV soap opera, Coronation Street, but the actress has no wish to have children of her own any time soon!
Samia has been married to husband Matt since 2005, but insists that they are not yet feeling the urge to procreate.
Samia, 25, said: “Matt and I are fine as we are and our parents don’t nag us, either. They’re not pushing us to give them grandchildren or anything - they just leave us to it.
Samia told New magazine:
“Matt and I have my nephews and nieces to stay and we just love having them over. It’s like a trial run, but we get to give them back the next day! But we haven’t any plans to have a baby yet. There are enough people around having babies!”
Samia is getting very excited about Tina O’Briens and Ryan Thomas first child though.
She said: “I’m so excited. That baby is going to be gorgeous! I can’t wait to see it. I’ve not managed to meet up with Tina yet, but she phoned me before it went in the papers. I’m so thrilled for them. They are a lovely couple and will make the best parents.”
